Anything Worth Doing is Worth Doing Well

This is something I tell my kids, and I try to remember no matter what I’m working on: to do the best I can at every task. Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Colossians 3:23-24
Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.

Jacobson Coffee is now Good Stuff Coffee

FB Promo Christmas 2016
As I was pondering a name for our brand, it hit me. For the past couple years, everywhere I went where there were coffee drinkers, I would ask if they wanted to try “the Good Stuff.” As we head toward 2017, we will begin to white-label some of the premium brands we currently distribute and sell them under the Good Stuff Coffee brand.

We will also continue to support Doing Good Works in their mission to create jobs for kids aging out of foster care. To that end, we’re running a special promotion primarily through Facebook, but you can also find us on Twitter and Instagram.

Save 10-20% off depending on when you order. The earlier you order, the more you save!

The Relentless Jeff Hayzlett Thinks Big And Acts Bigger

The Relentless Jeff Hayzlett Thinks Big And Acts Bigger

My good friend, Jeff Hayzlett, is on a 90+ day tour to 90+ cities promoting his latest book, “Think Big, Act Bigger – The Rewards of Being Relentless.”

Visit the Launch Promo Page here and enter to win a “Celebrity Experience” trip to New York. The prize package will be amazing for the lucky winners, so be sure to check it out and sign up!

Jeff spoke in his usual irreverent style last night in a beautiful outdoor setting at what appeared to be a startup incubator in Irvine, California. He addressed a group of small business owners, explaining that even though we may THINK big, the size of our ACTIONS often times doesn’t match up to the size of our thinking. I couldn’t agree more. Many years ago, I was in between businesses and had some cards printed with the statement, “It’s the ACT that counts!” And once you’ve selected your course of action, you must be relentless about staying the course.

Among many other great takeaways he mentioned what he calls, “conditions of satisfaction,” of which he has three which are imperatives for him to participate in a business venture. The first, it must create wealth, “… because that’s how we keep score.” The next, he has to learn something new. And the last, it has to be fun!

There were several other gems presented, including his commentary on “brand promise,” and the Q&A went on for quite some time afterward. Lots of power-packed content!

If you get the chance to see him live on this tour, do it. Maybe even buy the book, and don’t forget to sign up for his Celebrity Experience drawing.
